Course description

Presented by Alyssa Caldbeck, LISW, RPT and hosted by Lynn Louise Wonders, LPC, RPT-S, CPCS, this training is a 2 hour webinar and an advanced play therapy training for experienced play therapists. The information presented will examine the neurobiology framework of the Polyvagal theory and application in play therapy. 

Learning Objectives

  1. Participants will understand play therapy approaches in conjunction with knowledge of neurobiology.

  2. Participants will increase their capacity to use play therapy to support regulation.

  3. Participants will learn to engage and exercise the social engagement system using play therapy to help improve a child’s ability to successfully navigate vagus nervous systems.

Lynn Louise Wonders is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor, Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor, early childhood specialist and parenting coach.

Lynn leads a large community of play therapists from around the world on Facebook and has assisted well over 1,000 therapists in working toward RPT status and building thriving play therapy private practices.
