Advanced Adlerian Play Therapy Strategies and Case Conceptualization (3 Hours)

Advanced Adlerian Play Therapy Strategies and Case Conceptualization is a three-credit hour advanced level training designed to guide play therapists to create deeper case conceptualizations that focus not only on emotions and behavior but add lifestyle and temperament considerations to increase the effectiveness of Adlerian Play Therapy techniques. This training includes techniques specific to addressing temperament and lifestyle as strengths rather than obstacles.
Participants will identify and assess temperament qualities within the Adlerian Play Therapy framework.
Participants will demonstrate and understanding of upper-level Adlerian skills including encouragement, therapeutic metaphors, and diversity affirming treatment planning.
Participants will utilize one client of theirs to develop a case conceptualization that is based in an Adlerian Play Therapy perspective.
