This discussion will take place the last three Fridays of the month in January - March 2021. Jan. 29, Feb. 26 and March 26 for 1.5 hours each (noon to 1:30 pm EDT)

Regarding The Bridgerton Romance: Assisting Parents & Teens To Negotiate Consent and Sex in Relationships
Through readings/tv viewing and lively discussion, we will respectfully explore the issue of sexual mores, healthy boundaries, consent, innocence and trauma within the context of healthy connection and education for parents and teen clients.
What has changed or stayed static in your sexual education growing up? What’s our experience in practice about how today’s teens and parents handle talking about sexual development and matters? Let’s begin a conversation about how the presentation of the Netflix series “Bridgerton” can influence the discussion between parents and teens around cultivating more open and robust conversation about sex and sexual literacy.
