Course description

There are so many ethical considerations when providing play therapy services. This 2 hour training will examine the ethical tenets we all must be aware of when working with child clients and their families.

Learning Objectives

  1. Participants will receive a review of 4 major ethics code sections that relate to play therapy services.
  2. Participants will learn specific practices in the play therapy intake sessions and throughout the course of the play therapy process all the way through termination.
  3. Participants will learn how to ensure play therapy treatment planning is aligned with ethical tenets.
