Often therapists need to provide play therapy services in-home or at school depending on the needs of the population being served or the nature of the services. This 2 hour webinar will address ways to apply play therapy principles ethically and create a therapeutic experience for the child client in a variety of settings outside of the traditional office setting.

After taking this training, participants will be able to achieve the following learning objectives:

1. Name the pros and cons of providing play therapy services in home and school settings.

2. List 3 cautionary considerations for which to prepare to ensure services are following applicable ethics codes.

3. Name the ethical code sections for counselors, social workers and marriage and family therapists that may be applicable when providing play therapy in home and school settings.

4. Name 5 practical ways to create a therapeutic experience in alternative settings for play therapy.
