Quick Tips for Going Digital
Psychotherapy With Children And Families In An Online Setting
This course is designed for play therapists and other mental health professionals that are faced with quickly transitioning their outpatient (in-person) psychotherapy services to an online setting.
While this information is applicable to all clients, it is specifically geared towards working with children (and families) in ways that are congruent with ethical standards of play therapy practice.
The course provides ethical and practical guidelines for clinicians to consider before integrating telehealth or video-based options in their practice. However, it is critical for all clinicians to follow their individual state and licensure guidelines.
This course features multiple, short Q&A discussions between Dr. Jessica Stone and Jennifer Taylor about the practical considerations of going digital and some basic therapeutic guidelines and interventions.
There are NO APT/NBCC credits available for this course. Participants interested in getting more thorough information on this topic including an in-depth look at using digital tools in a play therapy setting will have the opportunity to enroll in a for-credit course in the very near future.
