** This online training is led by Lynn Louise Wonders, LPC, RPT-S, CPCS of Wonders Counseling Services, LLC (APT Approved Provider 12-321) and provides 2 hours of Non-Contact play therapy training and 2 NBCC CE hours.**

Description: 

This 2 hour recorded online training webinar will provide therapists an interactive training opportunity to learn about how to handle case conceptualization and treatment planning when there is court-involvement with divorce and custody related situations with families in the play therapy process. This training will specifically provide training in how to handle subpoenas and how to be prepared to testify in court in the case testimony is required. 

2 hours of training in the special topic of court-involvement, subpoenas and preparation for court.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this training participants will be prepared to. 

  1. Describe the special nature of play therapy cases where parents are involved in court litigation.
  2. Identify 3 important steps to take after receiving a subpoena as a therapist providing play therapy services.
  3. Name 5 important steps to take to be prepared for court testimony when required.
  4. List 3 adjustments to the treatment plan in the case court involvement arises in the midst of play therapy services to preserve the child’s therapeutic relationship with the therapist.
